The Rindge Energy Commission and the Ingalls Memorial Library will host a free NHSaves “Button Up” home energy efficiency workshop at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 22, at the Rindge Recreation Department, 283 Wellington Road. A virtual option via Google Meet is also available.
Led by a certified energy auditor, the 1.5-hour presentation and Q&A session will cover basic building science principles, whole-house weatherization, and measures to improve heating and cooling efficiency. Attendees will also learn about NH utility efficiency programs, energy audits, insulating techniques, and rebates for energy-efficient appliances and heating equipment.
Sponsored by NHSaves – a collaboration of Eversource, Liberty Utilities, NH Electric Cooperative, and Unitil – the event is coordinated statewide by the Plymouth Area Renewable Energy Initiative.
No registration is required to attend in person, and light refreshments and a door prize drawing will be provided. To request the Google Meet link or ask questions, email Pat Martin at pmartin2894@yahoo.com. Additional details can be found at plymouthenergy.org/button-up.
