Classic rock band Sheep Dip will perform a free concert on Thursday, Aug. 20, as part of the Hancock Summer Concert Series.

The show runs from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the bandstand on the Hancock town common. In the event of rain, the performance will move downstairs inside the Meetinghouse.

Having performed together for more than 15 years, the band specializes in popular rock covers from the 1970s and 1980s while incorporating contemporary selections into their setlist.

There will be no farmers’ market on the common during this week’s event.
