The Dublin Community Center will host an art reception for visual artist Earl Schofield on Friday, Aug. 14, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The reception, held at the center (also known as the DubHub) at 1123 Main St. in Dublin, is free and open to the public.
Schofield, who has taught visual art at the Dublin School for 23 years, is presenting an exhibition of work featuring encaustic paintings and watercolors. His artwork has been displayed in national and regional exhibitions and is held in public and private collections worldwide.
The exhibition runs through Sept. 1 and is open for viewing and sales during regular DubHub hours or by appointment. More information about the artist and exhibition is available on the center’s website.
