The Jaffrey Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual Ron Despres Memorial Golf Classic on Monday, Aug. 10, at Shattuck Golf Club. A rain date is scheduled for Aug. 17.
The tournament is the chamber’s largest annual fundraiser, with a portion of proceeds supporting Santa’s House and the United Church of Jaffrey’s Got Lunch Program.
Santa’s House is a nonprofit organization that assists Jaffrey families in need during the Christmas season. The Got Lunch Program helps provide healthy meals to children in the Jaffrey-Rindge area during school vacations, weekends and summer breaks.
The chamber is seeking sponsors and players for the event. Atlas Fireworks and Peard Properties have already signed on as corporate sponsors.
