Downtown Keeneโs Pride Art Crawl will return June 12-28, turning downtown businesses into pop-up galleries for LGBTQIA+ artists during Pride Month.
The event is organized by the City of Keene Human Rights Committee, Friends of Public Art, Keene Pride and the Monadnock Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging Coalition. Participating storefronts will display work by local and regional LGBTQIA+ artists, creating a walkable art experience that also supports small businesses.
A call for artists is open through May 17. Artists and performers of all mediums are invited to apply. Submission details, along with Facebook and Instagram links, are available at LinkTr.ee/PrideArtCrawl.Keene.
โThis event is about more than art-itโs about visibility, connection, and creating spaces where people feel seen and valued,โ said David Morrill, event organizer and member of the City of Keeneโs Human Rights Committee. โWhen we activate our downtown in this way, weโre not just showcasing talent-weโre strengthening community.โ
