The Harbor Coffeehouse will present โRoots & Branches,โ an evening of curated song, poetry and storytelling, on Saturday, March 14, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Peterborough Unitarian Universalist Congregation, 25 Main St.
The program explores themes of connection, inspired in part by Peter Whollebenโs 2015 book, โThe Hidden Life of Trees,โ which examines how trees nurture and support one another within forest communities. Organizers draw a parallel to human relationships and the importance of sustaining connection.
The event will focus on honoring โthose who have nurtured us and those whom we have, or are currently, giving our care and attention.โ
The Harbor Coffeehouse describes itself as a welcoming, community-centered gathering inspired by traditional coffeehouse culture, offering space to share creative expression and meaningful conversation aimed at fostering connection and reducing isolation. All are welcome.
