The Harbor Coffeehouse will present โ€œRoots & Branches,โ€ an evening of curated song, poetry and storytelling, on Saturday, March 14, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Peterborough Unitarian Universalist Congregation, 25 Main St.

The program explores themes of connection, inspired in part by Peter Whollebenโ€™s 2015 book, โ€œThe Hidden Life of Trees,โ€ which examines how trees nurture and support one another within forest communities. Organizers draw a parallel to human relationships and the importance of sustaining connection.

The event will focus on honoring โ€œthose who have nurtured us and those whom we have, or are currently, giving our care and attention.โ€

The Harbor Coffeehouse describes itself as a welcoming, community-centered gathering inspired by traditional coffeehouse culture, offering space to share creative expression and meaningful conversation aimed at fostering connection and reducing isolation. All are welcome.
