ConVal-area student-athletes delivered standout performances across New England this weekend, excelling on both the wrestling mat and volleyball court.

At the inaugural Tournament of Champions on March 22 at the Tsongas Center in Lowell, Mass., Locke Olesky placed third in the U15 175-pound division after going 4-1. Olesky, a ConVal standout, will compete in track and field this spring for South Meadow School.

Everett Longley finished fourth in the U12 heavyweight division, continuing a strong second season in wrestling. He will play baseball this spring for Lionheart Classical Academy.

Remington Hotchkin also represented the ConVal area in the U12 63-pound division. He is set to continue his season at the King of the Mat Dragon Slayer tournament April 25-26.

On the volleyball court, Ryann Longley, an eighth grader at Lionheart Classical Academy who also played for South Meadow School, helped lead Hardrock Volleyball to the U14 championship at the AAU Super Regional Spring Kickoff Tournament in Providence, Rhode Island. Playing middle blocker in her first club season, Longley contributed to an undefeated weekend for her team.
