Barbershop quartets from the Keene-based Cheshiremen Chorus will deliver Singing Valentines across the Monadnock region on Saturday, Feb. 14, with limited premium deliveries available Friday, Feb. 13, for schools and workplaces typically closed Saturdays.
Each Singing Valentine includes two love songs performed in person by a quartet, a fresh long-stem red rose, sweet treats and a snapshot photo of the delivery. Performances can be scheduled at homes, workplaces, hospitals, schools, nursing homes, restaurants and other locations.
The annual event is a major fundraiser for the Cheshiremen Chorus, a 74-year-old nonprofit and Keene chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society, supporting its charitable and musical education mission.
