The Monadnock Conservancy will offer a free hike and art walk beginning Feb. 1 on the Gramwick Trail at the Mountain Brook Reservoir property in Jaffrey.
The annual Heart Hike features 20 hearts hidden along the trail and is open to the public. The conserved property is maintained by the Monadnock Conservancy. The event has been held as a midwinter activity for families and visitors.
For this year’s Heart Hike, the Conservancy commissioned local artists to design the hearts. Participating artists include Deb Stevens, Jeanne Thieme, Mary Iselin, Alicia Drakiotes, Julie Waltrip and Ben Cosgrove.
The event is free. Directions to the Mountain Brook Reservoir and the Gramwick Trail are available at monadnockconservancy.org.
