Belletetes marked the opening of its newest location in Brookline with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Monday, Dec. 1.
Family members, Brookline officials, representatives from TD Bank, team members from Digz and Hutter Construction, Orgill representatives, and Belletetes employees attended the celebration.
The new full-service store features 20,000 square feet of retail space offering building materials, hardware, tools, home improvement supplies, and customer-focused services for homeowners, contractors, and local businesses. The site also includes a 30,000-square-foot drive-thru lumberyard. Belletetes will continue to manufacture custom wood flooring and process reclaimed lumber at the Brookline location.
“This store represents the hard work of many partners and team members, and we look forward to providing quality products, exceptional service, and strong community engagement,” said Mike Shea, Belletetes president and CEO.
Founded in 1898 as a general store, Belletetes has expanded into one of the largest lumber and building materials retailers in the Northeast. The company operates 10 locations across New Hampshire and Massachusetts, employs 400 people, and runs a fleet of more than 70 delivery vehicles.
