Runners came from as far away as London, England; Anchorage, Alaska; and Houston, Texas for this year’s Turkey Trot at ConVal. About 70 participants — including runners, walkers, two children on bikes, one child in a stroller, and a happy dog — joined the Thanksgiving morning event.
The informal 5K fun run took place on Thursday, Nov. 27, beginning and ending at the ConVal High School parking lot.
The top three finishers were Jed Bentley, William Vaillancourt and Nate Earley.
Organizers collected two large tubs of nonperishable food plus cash donations for the Peterborough Food Pantry.
