Downtown Peterboroughโ€™s First Friday celebration will be held Friday, April 3, from 5 to 7 p.m. and later, with shopping, dining, gallery events and family activities throughout Depot Square and downtown.

Participating businesses and venues include Blue Fern Gallery, Granite Block Art and Antiques, Grove & Main Antiques, Hearth Magick, Josephโ€™s Coat, Meshugenah Hat Company, Peterborough Art Academy & Supplies, Steeleโ€™s Stationers, Toadstool Bookshop, Tria Yoga and Pursue Movement.

Special events include an open house at Blue Fern Gallery, a free open house at Makerspace/MAXT, a 7 p.m. MacDowell Downtown program with interdisciplinary performance artist Dahlak Brathwaite at Bass Hall, and a pay-what-you-can 5:30 p.m. Flow class at Tria Yoga. The Peterborough Public Library Gallery also will feature โ€œSpring Awakeningโ€ by James Cusmano.
