Peterborough Town Library and Monadnock Underground will host an open mic for writers on Thursday, April 9, at 5:30 p.m. in the 1833 Room at the library, 2 Concord St., Peterborough.
Held on the second Thursday of each month, the event is open to writers of all ages. Writers and listeners may arrive anytime after 5:30 p.m.
The event is managed by Monadnock Underground, a community of writers publishing online and in print publications and anthologies. The group has published several literary magazine anthologies, four collections of writings, and four books focused on writers from the Monadnock Region and beyond.
