Thanks to ‘Snowplow Angels’

We’ve called Stone Ridge Drive home for over 20 years, which means we’ve seen our fair share of winters that made us question every life decision that led us to this climate. This year was no exception โ€” Mother Nature clearly had something to prove.
But here’s the thing: In two decades of watching snow pile up and wondering where exactly it was all supposed to go, we have never โ€” and we don’t say this lightly โ€” experienced plowing service like we did this year. Not even close.
The crews responsible for our neighborhood were nothing short of outstanding. Every pass was thoughtful. Driveways weren’t buried under six-foot walls of revenge snow. Our mailbox remained accessible, which our mail carrier surely appreciated as much as we did. And the front-end loaders? Those operators sculpted snow shelves with a precision that honestly bordered on artistic. We half expected to see a judging panel from the Winter Olympics holding up score cards.
In a season where it would have been easy to just push through and move on, these crews took the time to do it right โ€” and our entire neighborhood is better for it. It’s the kind of public service that often goes unnoticed and we didn’t want this to be one of those times.
Please extend our sincere gratitude to every member of the crew responsible for Stone Ridge Drive. Their hard work, professionalism, and consideration for the residents they serve made a brutal winter just a little more bearable โ€” and dare we say, impressive to watch from the window with a warm cup of coffee.
With deep appreciation (and hopes for an early spring).
