Rindge misinformation, $40 or $200 tax impact?

I don’t understand how our local Rindge government, selectmen and administrator can get away with this intentional misinformation, omission and ignorance โ€“ now, at the last moments before our ballot printing and the March 10 voting. Tom Coneys, Rindge selectman, has been reporting at meetings on this detailed stuff about unwatched spending, the dollar impacts, and the Budget/Default “real” numbers. Two Rindge selectmen just sat back and ignored, or worse, fought back as if selectmen (voted 2-1) appointed ex-interim Administrator Oeser knew best, and Selectman Coneys didn’t know what he was talking about. So, what now? Does our Rindge government, elected, paid (selectmen, administrator), agree with the trusted Planning Board chair and BAC member Oeser’s Feb. 11 public meeting statement of 11 cents, or $40 for a Rindge home assessed for $400,000, being the tax impact if all the warrant articles and the budget pass with “yes” votes? Or does our Rindge government stand by the Voter’s Guide printout found on Rindge’s website Feb. 19? Does the new Rindge administrator stand behind the numbers uploaded to our new website, still in its early, hard to find things, chaotic stage? I’m wondering (again), how about the DRA, SOS, have they been notified about this new Rindge public ballot information for their clarifying assurance? Watch it. At about 3 minutes into the Feb. 11 selectmen’s meeting on TownHall Streams video, Oeser gives her “It’s only 11 cents” citizens forum speech, pleading that it’s very important to not be working with a default budget (again) and the meager tax impacts on a “yes” vote for all budget and articles. Just 11 cents, Oeser states, only $40 on a $400,000 assessed home. Rindge Voters’ Guide says $197 on a $400,000 home. Who stands by whom?
