Relevant experience: I’ve been moderator since 2008. Before that, I served on the Budget Committee for 22 years. Professionally, I practiced law in Wilton for 45 years until my retirement.ย 

Why are you running? A town Moderator has two main functions: He or she moderates the town meeting. The Moderator also serves as the chief election officer. Experience helps with both.

What is your most important issue? Keeping the public’s faith in our elections.ย  This depends on our adherence to state law and the efforts of scores of volunteers.ย ย

Why are you running? We need to preserve the qualities and characteristics of Wilton, encourageย growth, and minimize administrative burden on residents.

What is your most important issue? Growing the tax base to reduce individualย tax burden, while not compromising the characteristics thatย make Wilton… Wilton.

Relevant experience: Community advocate on issues that highlight problems, controversial topics, or demand debate. Served on the Greenville Planning Board and was appointed to the Wilton Planning Board in 2024, currently serving as chairperson.

Why are you running? To continue public service, on the Planning Board, to preserve the character of Wilton through proactive strategies, sustainable development, and policy reflective of the community.

What is your most important issue? Ensuring that proposed projects are thoroughly vetted for their impact, and that the approval process enforces standards that promote safety and value to Wiltonโ€™s neighborhoods.

Why are you running? Although Iโ€™ve served a long time, there are still many things to do: repair our bridges and dams, build a new highway garage, and more.

What is your most important issue? Do everything possible to limit property taxes. Encourage commercial development to increase tax base, manage costs wherever practical, support state offset of school property tax.
