It’s the election, stupid
General Patton won the Battle of the Bulge by detecting the next move of the Germans and preparing for it. That is how Bastogne was saved and WWII was won. Understanding and recognizing the long-term strategy of your adversary is essential. So, what are the coming moves of Trump and Miller?
The administration is focused on this fall’s election. They know that, with a fair election, they will at least lose the House, which will put some reins on this administration. The ICE operations in Minnesota and Maine are designed to allow the government to escalate. At some point, a bomb will go off, an officer will be shot or injured, a terror attack will happen, and be grounds for further escalation. Military in the streets? Martial law? Suspending the courts? Much of what Trump does is based on “emergency declarations” that allow him to circumvent the law.
Signs are visible:
– The FBI is collecting election materials from the Georgia 2020 election “again.”
– The federal government is requesting voter rolls from the states
– Redistricting efforts are underway
Under the pretense of increasing “election security,” federal police, military or some government arm will be mobilized to “protect the election from fraud,” disrupting the election and sowing chaos, allowing the current regime to dispute the results.
If you believe that Trump will allow for a regular, peaceful election, you are wrong. Trump is decrying the polls as fake already because they show the decline of his approval ratings. We know Trump does not accept election results if they determine that he is the loser. He does not have the psychological capacity to tolerate that, and knowing he will lose, he is already on the offensive. We have to be prepared. Just like General Patton.
