Kenny Warrenโ€™s Sweet World will perform at Nova Arts, 48 Emerald St., in Keene, on Friday, Feb. 6, with an opening set by JP Schlegelmilch.

Led by trumpeter and composer Kenny Warren, Sweet World features Christopher Hoffman on cello and Nathan Ellman-Bell on drums. The trio blends jazz, folk and improvisation in Warrenโ€™s compositions. Their debut LP on Out of Your Head Records was named by Best of Bandcamp as โ€œthe sonic representation of a beating heart.โ€

Opening the show is Brooklyn-based pianist, accordionist and electric keyboardist JP Schlegelmilch, who performs original, genre-blending music informed by jazz, classical and rock influences. Schlegelmilch leads several projects, including Visitors, whose debut album was released on Skirl Records in 2018.

Doors open at 7 p.m., with music beginning at 7:30 p.m. The show is all ages, with first-come, first-served seating. Access For All tickets are available with support from Savings Bank of Walpole. Tickets and information are available at novaarts.org/event.
