The Peterborough Town Library will present “Art of the Anasazi: Photography by Harvey Halpern” in its Community Art Gallery from Friday, Jan. 9, through Saturday, Feb. 21.
The exhibit features photographs by local artist Harvey Halpern documenting Indigenous history and cultural artifacts of the Colorado Plateau. An opening reception is scheduled for Friday, Jan. 9, from 4 to 6 p.m., with an artist talk at 5:30 p.m.
Halpern has photographed wilderness areas across North America since 1978, with a focus on Southern Utah.
The exhibition is free and open during regular library hours at the Peterborough Town Library, 2 Concord St.
