Holiday hoax
To the Editor:
The Los Angeles Dodgers were to be renamed The Donald Trump Dodgers until Susie Wiles warned the President about Gavin Newsom posting the new moniker as “Donald Trump Draft Dodgers.” So instead he renamed the New York Yankees, who are now the Donald J. Trump Yankees. He waited barely a day before declaring that henceforward
the United States would be known as The Donald Trump United States.
And then, in a post tailored to the season, he altered the lyrics of that classic Christmas tune and threatened prosecution for anyone refusing to sing along:
“May your days be merry and bright,
And may all your immigrants be white.”
That’s all for now, folks. It will be another week before The Sick Man of America plasters his name in gold on a few more venerable entities. Get ready for The Gulf of Trump!
