Marybeth Hallinan, director of music ministry at Peterborough Unitarian Universalist Church, will lead “A Winter Solstice Singing Ritual” on Sunday, Dec. 21, at 10:15 a.m.
A community-wide choir will celebrate the Winter Solstice through song and spoken word. The work by Julie Forest Middleton and Stasia MorganAppel combines original and collected contemporary songs that mark the longest night and welcome the return of the light.
The free event is open to the public at Peterborough Unitarian Universalist Church, 25 Main St., Peterborough. The building is accessible through the entrance off the rear parking lot.
