The Pearly Pond Lake Association is hosting its annual live and silent auction fundraiser on Dec. 6 at Jaffrey VFW Post 5613 to raise funds for the maintenance of the lake’s dam.
The fundraiser, from 7 to 11 p.m., will feature entertainment by the Lake Effect Band and dinner provided by the Peterborough Pizza Barn. A live auction will be held between songs and a silent auction will be held throughout the night.
Some of the items available to purchase are a 20-foot flagpole, certificates for rounds of 18 holes of golf, tickets to the Bruins and the Celtics, hand-made birdhouses, bicycles, and gift certificates to local stores.
There will be 15 different raffle items, including themed baskets with a variety of items. Some of the baskets include horseback riding items, maple syrup, pet-themed items, cooking implements, wine and champagne, and gift certificates and cards.
Funds raised will support the Pearly Pond Lake Association and the upkeep of the dam and its surroundings.
VFW Post 5613 is located at 12 Hawthorne Road, from 7 to 11 p.m.
