She walked the pumpkin patch to find the biggest pumpkin to show off for her friends. Then there was the biggest pumpkin she had ever seen! It was bigger than her! “This one is perfect,” she said to herself. She grabbed her carving knife from her bag and got started, she took off the top and yanked out the pumpkin guts. Then she decided to make the scariest face she could come up with, big eyes with narrow pupils, and a big creepy smile with giant sharp teeth. Carving out her last tooth she stepped back to admire her work. Nodding in satisfaction, she turned around and snapped a selfie. Looking at her selfie on her phone, thinking how much her friends are going to freak. She started to walk in the direction of her house. Then there was a sudden lightning bolt right behind her that threw her ten feet in the air, and she fell hard on the ground. After a few minutes, her eyes opened slowly. Her vision was blurred, then something came into her sight. Her vision started to come back and the more it did the more she was afraid. At first, all she could see was an orange blob then she could tell it was round and had a face, then it clicked, it was her pumpkin. Alive! And it was heading her way! Her main instinct was to run. But before she could even get up she was grabbed by something sticky and wet. “Ahhhhhhhhhhh!” She screamed. As the sticky pumpkin monster opened its mouth and showed its extra sharp teeth that she is now regretting carving. “Help!” And those are the last words ever heard from her. Some people think she was sent to heaven that night, some people think she turned into a pumpkin herself forced to stay in the pumpkin patch and some people think that the haunted pumpkin stuffed her body with hay and used her as a scarecrow.
