Hancock Town Library will present a live falconry demonstration featuring Mahood the Hawk and falconer Henry Walters of Monadnock Falconry Sunday, Oct. 13, at 2 p.m. at Moose Brook Park. In case of rain, the event will be held on Sunday, Nov. 3.
Walters will discuss the behavior of birds of prey and their relationship with falconers, drawing from his experience apprenticing at Ireland’s School of Falconry and his work as a raptor biologist for New Hampshire Audubon.
