The improving Wilton-Lyndeborough and Mascenic teams met on the hardwood in New Ipswich Tuesday night for a hoops battle that showed both teams how far they’ve come and how much more work they have to do.
The Town Hall Theatre, 40 Main St., Wilton, will present the silent comedy “The Strong Man” with live music on Saturday, Feb. 8, at 2 p.m.

Bringing some holiday moves to a post-holiday evening, the Wilton-Lyndeborough Cooperative Middle High School Dance Team performed “The Mini-Nutcracker” at the school last week. The event was rescheduled from December due to weather.

The final tally on the scoreboard may have been ConVal 73, Wilton-Lyndeborough 54 at ConVal’s Robert Maguire Gymnasium Thursday afternoon for the Unified Basketball season-opener, but anyone who passed through those gym doors left with a smile on their face.
I’ve mentioned our dog, Maxwell, in several of my columns this past year. He turned 10 in July. I thought we would have many more years to wander the trails and swim in the ponds that have been part of our everyday Wilton experience.
