JaffreyBand to perform ‘A Charlie Brown Christmas’ soundtrack

The Heather Pierson Trio will perform the soundtrack to “A Charlie Brown Christmas” at The Park Theatre, 19 Main St., Jaffrey, on Saturday, Nov. 30, at 7:30 p.m. This marks the third time the trio has brought the music to the venue as part of The Park Theatre’s annual Dickens Fest.

The score, composed by Vince Guaraldi for the 1965 animated television special, combines jazz with the themes of Charles M. Schulz’s “Peanuts” characters. The Heather Pierson Trio has been performing the soundtrack throughout New England for more than a decade.

Tickets are $25 for adults and $10 for children 12 and younger. They are available at theparktheatre.org or by calling 603-532-8888. Tickets can also be purchased at the box office before the concert.
