Letter: Parents want to choose

I guess the people opposed to letting Dublin and Francestown leave ConVal believe in bureaucracy and lawyers; we believe in democracy and parents to run the school system.

They believe in paying $25,000 for a product when I can get that same product for $13,000 in another town that is closer to me. They believe that proficiency tests scores are "adequate;" we don't. We don't believe in teaching children that males can become females and females can become males.  We don't believe in teaching children all sorts of "-isms;" we believe in teaching love. We don't believe in abortion; we believe in life.

Dublin and Francestown expressed that they want the people to be able to vote on who controls their school systems in their presentations to the feasibility committee on Aug. 8. Members of the ConVal feasibility  committee, if they vote no, they are voting for the bureaucracy and lawyers and against democracy and parents.
