In Temple on Saturday, Pikachus and Wolverines spooked those with open trunks into giving them treats outside the Town Hall as darkness fell during the trunk-or-treat event, and Courtney Flores served up a “Hocus Pocus” theme with her goodies.

“Carmen Sandiego” offered a geography-themed setting for treat-seekers.

“I’ve traveled to all seven continents,” Carmen said. “Most recently Antarctica.”

Tom and Meghan Levesque of Temple had a Western vibe going, helped along by Coco, their 8-year-old German Shepherd-Golden mix. For more, see ledgertranscript.com.
