Three injured in Peterborough crash Sunday

Three people were hospitalized after a three-car crash at the intersection of Old Street Road and Route 101 in Peterborough on Sunday afternoon.

According to Peterborough Police Department Capt. Ernie Belletete, 61-year-old Edward C. Olivieri of North Billerica, Mass., was driving south on Old Street Road at approximately 5:35 p.m. when he failed to yield for a stop sign and collided with a 2024 Ford F-150 pickup truck driven by Brice Johnson, 66, of Harrisville.

Johnson was driving west on Route 101, and Belletete said the impact pushed his truck into the eastbound lane, where it collided with a 2018 Toyota pickup driven by Thomas St. Cyr, 32, of Temple. All three vehicles sustained heavy damage, and were towed, Belletete said.

Belletete said Olivieri was transported to Monadnock Community Hospital with a minor neck injury, and a passenger in Johnson’s truck, 64-year-old Holly Johnson of Harrisville, was transported to MCH with injuries to her chest and right arm. A passenger in St. Cyr’s truck, 31-year-old Mackenzie Arndt of Temple, was taken to Elliot Hospital in Manchester with an arm injury.

The accident remains under investigation.
