An informal Thanksgiving Day 5K fun run will take place Thursday, Nov. 28, starting at 10 a.m. at the ConVal High School parking lot. The course follows Southfield Road, the bike trail and the Hunt Road loop.

Participants can run, jog or walk the 3.1-mile route solo or with friends and family. Attendees are encouraged to bring a non-perishable item for the local food bank as a way to give thanks.

Runners should wear appropriate shoes and bright clothing, and remain cautious of traffic. All participants must sign a waiver upon arrival and note they run at their own risk.

After the run, Icespike will host a raffle with prizes. Free hot drinks and bagels will also be available.
