Letter: Judgments speak volumes

My letter (“Assessing Christian voters”) got harsh criticism from Corrine Joly (“Not very Christian”). She infers that judging is wrong, then proceeds to lambaste President-elect Donald Trump and, as I understand her, is thankful that she and others don’t worship my God. Her judgments speak volumes.

Regarding abortion, if it’s not the killing of a child, then what is it? Doing the same procedure to a dog or cat would leave the general public outraged and screaming that it’s the brutal murder of puppies and kittens. I also notice that pro-abortionists never answer my question –  why is the murder of a pregnant mother ruled a double homicide?

Joly despises the fact that there are only two genders (established by God) and that my beliefs are wrong, bigoted and very un-Christian. So, let’s make a comparison. According to extreme leftism, a boy who thinks he’s really a girl gets honor and support for his feelings. However, if a boy thinks that he’s a Christian and feels a need to preach against anti-Biblical beliefs, he is vilified. Both examples are based on feelings, so why the double standard?

There were two guys who sued a cake company for refusing to decorate a gay wedding cake for them. We need leaders and judges who rule against such religious persecution and Trump will make an effort to do so. This is only one example of how he sticks up for Christian values. I believe that Kamala Harris would’ve done the opposite, especially with the kind of vice president she chose.

Trump is not an angel that came fluttering down from heaven, but if he can damper some of the moral and fiscal bankruptcy we’re in, it’ll be a fantastic start.
