The Monadnock Full Throttle Triathlon hosted 123 racers on Sunday for the annual three-leg race.

The race included a half-mile swim in Thorndike Pond, transitioning to the biking segment from the beach. Participants biked for 11.2 miles on a half-paved, half-gravel route around Thorndike Pond, followed by a 5.3-mile hike along the White Dot Trail to the summit of Mount Monadnock, and descending down the White Cross trail.

The race began on Shattuck Public Beach at 9 a.m. for the swimming portion, and included a bike and run, ending on Poole Road in Jaffrey. The overall sprint triathlon winner was Travis Muhonen, with a time of 1 hour, 51 minutes and 21 seconds. Second place was Liam Sullivan, and in third was Andrew Greene. The top three finishers completed the race within minutes of each other, with Sullivan recording a time of 1 hour, 52 minutes, and 24 seconds, and Greene in 1 hour, 53 minutes and 43 seconds.

The top female finisher of the race was Cali Salo, who finished in 2 hours, 28 minutes and 5 seconds, placing 10th overall.

The top finisher for the two-person relay was Team Ketola, with a time of 1 hour, 55 minutes and 54 seconds. The top three-person relay was Nighty Night, with a time of 1 hour, 49 minutes and 11 seconds.
