Project Shakespeare will present "Little Women," adapted and directed by Deborah Shakespeare Thurber, on Saturday, April 26, at 7 p.m. and Sunday, April 27, at 4 p.m. at First Congregational Church, 6 Payson Hill Road, Rindge.

Set during the Civil War, the play follows Marmee and her daughters—Meg, Jo, Beth and Amy—as they face challenges in Concord, Mass., while Mr. March is away. Each sister grapples with personal dreams and societal expectations in their journey toward adulthood.

The production is part of Project Shakespeare’s “One Play in One Week” program, in which students rehearse, stage and perform a full play during the April school break.

Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under, available at the door 30 minutes before each show. For information, visit projectshakespeare.org.
