Firefighters were victorious against police officers Saturday in the “Battle of the Badges” softball game on Carnival Hill, as part of Wilton’s Old Home Days celebrations.

Wilton Fire Chief Don Nourse said it was a day of fun between members of the Wilton and Lyndeborough fire and police departments and ambulance crews.

“It was just a fun time, and that’s all we were looking for,” Nourse said.
