Chamberlin Free Public Library, 46 Main St., Greenville, is presenting “Poetry on a May Evening” on Wednesday, May 14, at 7 p.m.

The event will feature readings by three local poets. Denise Ginzler of Greenville is the author of “One Ripple.” Carla Desrosiers, a pharmacist from the Seacoast area, has been active in open mic poetry readings. Melody Zahn Russell of Hancock is the author of the upcoming book “My Name is Melody. Who Are You?” to be published by Porcupine Press.

Attendees are welcome to bring a poem to share.
