The Peterborough Town Library at 2 Concord St. will host two free all-ages programs during ConVal’s school vacation week.

On Thursday, May 1, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., The Caterpillar Lab will offer a drop-in exhibit in the library’s 1833 Room. Visitors can view live native caterpillars and learn about their adaptations and life cycles from educators.

On Saturday, May 3, from 1 to 3 p.m., Electric Earth Concerts presents “Cranky Bartok.” Attendees will create a hand-cranked illustrated scroll while listening to violin music by BélaBartók and Darius Milhaud. The event will conclude with a performance using the finished artwork.

Library events are free and open to the public. For information, go to peterboroughtownlibrary.org.
