Peterborough Lions Club recently held its annual Lucky Duck Race, which started with rubber ducks entering the Nubanusit River at Putnam Park and ended in Depot Square Park.

Proceeds from this race support assistance with eye screenings, eye exams, eyeglasses and hearing aids. The club also accepted new or gently worn shoes to support the efforts of soles4souls.org while selling tickets for the event.

This year’s winners are as follows:

– $1,000, James T. Salon.

– $250, Mame Odette.

– $100, Sheila Todd.

– Sara LeFebvre, airplane ride for three from Silver Ranch Airpark.
