Peterborough Folk Music presents Laurie MacAllister of Red Molly on Saturday, April 26 at 7 p.m. at Bass Hall at the Monadnock Center for History and Culture, 19 Grove St.

MacAllister co-founded Red Molly in 2004 and spent 16 years touring nationally and internationally with the Americana trio. She began her music career in New York City, performing at open mics before releasing her first solo album, “These Old Clothes.” She later toured with Cliff Eberhardt, who produced her album “The Things I Choose to Do.”

Her most recent album, “The Lies the Poets Tell,” features duets with artists including Jimmy LaFave. MacAllister has also taught singing and performance at workshops across the country.

Jud Caswell joins as a special guest.
