Peterborough First Friday is Nov. 1

Downtown Peterborough starts the holiday season with First Friday Nov. 1 from 5 to 7 p.m. The merchants of Depot Square and downtown will open late, inviting the community to explore shops, restaurants and galleries.

Participating businesses include The Apothecary, Ava Marie’s Chocolates, diVINE on Main and Joseph’s Coat. Grey Horse Candle Company and businesses such as Knitty Gritty Yarn Shop and Peterborough Art Academy & Supplies will highlight seasonal products.

Art exhibits and events include an artist talk at 6 p.m. with Michael Kline about his exhibition, "Change: The Art of Michael Kline" at Peterborough Town Library and presentations at MacDowell Downtown with artist MugabiByenkya and Monadnock Academy of Movement Arts.

This free, family event also includes dining options, and parking is available.
