Peterborough First Friday is June 7

Peterborough’s monthly First Friday event featuring downtown businesses and activities will be June 7 from 5 to 7 p.m.

Maple Treeo will perform. Members David Flemming on flute, Eric Blackmer on guitar and Joy Flemming on bassoon all hail from Peterborough and have been active for many years in the Monadnock region musical community.

MacDowell Downtown in Bass Hall at the Monadnock Center for History and Culture on Grove Street will feature composer Kyle Rivera at 7 p.m.

At the Mariposa Museum on Main Street, Peterborough Players Artistic Director Charles Morey will be performing a reading from one of his new play productions.

Peterborough Town Library on Main Street is hosting the opening reception for its latest exhibition, “Two Artists, Four Hands: Robert Hauser & Jane Simpson.”

PREP (Peterborough Renewable Energy Project) will be located next to Knitty Gritty, in Depot Square, with information on how to be wiser with energy.
