JaffreyPark Theatre presents Cézanne documentary

The Park Theatre, 19 Main St. in Jaffrey, will screen the documentary “Cézanne: Portraits of a Life” on Wednesday, Nov. 13, at 1:30 p.m. as part of the "Exhibition on Screen" series. 

The film explores Paul Cézanne’s life and focuses on his lesser-known portraits, which were displayed in a major exhibition at the National Gallery in London, Musée d’Orsay in Paris and the Smithsonian in Washington, D.C. It offers insights into the artist’s evolution, his family ties and his artistic legacy, with commentary from Cézanne’s great-grandson, Phillipe Cézanne.
