In their biggest swim event of the season, the New Ipswich Breakers participated in the 59th annual Milford Rotary Invitational – a two-day event held over the weekend at the Keyes Park in Milford.

A total of 15 teams, with 462 swimmers, participated in 86 events. Overall winners were Nashua Swim and Tennis Riptide in Division I, Granite YMCA in Division II and New Hampshire Hills swim team in Division III.

New Ipswich placed sixth in Division I. Standout performances included the boys 15-to-19 200-yard medley relay and 200-yard freestyle relay teams, both of which finished first. The team consisted of Jackson Keating, Liam Falter, Ryan Kutyla and Gavin Cotzin. The freestyle team was Keating, Falter, Kutyla and Frankie Juvera. Gabe Gerow also placed first in the boys 11-to-12 50-yard freestyle.

Swimmers who placed first in their heats included Falter for the 100-yard freestyle, Micheala Flannery for the 50-yard freestyle and Sawyer Klebes for the 50-yard breaststroke.
