Monadnock Community Hospital schedules seminars

Monadnock Community Hospital will launch a series of free health and wellness seminars starting in January. These sessions will cover health topics on spine surgery, cardiovascular wellness for women and colorectal cancer prevention.

Seminar schedule and leaders

— Jan. 9: "Innovations in Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery," led by Dr. Vache Hambardzumyan of Monadnock Orthopaedic Associates at 5:30 p.m., Bond Wellness Center. Hambardzumyan specializes in minimally invasive spine surgery and will discuss recent advancements in the field.

— Feb. 27: "Women’s Guide to Cardiovascular Wellness," led by Dr. Robert Spencer of Monadnock Gastroenterology Associates at 5:30 p.m., Bond Wellness Center. Spencer will cover cardiovascular health issues specific to women, including risk factors and early signs.

— March 27: "Colorectal Cancer Awareness and Prevention," led by Dr. Michael Gilbert of Monadnock Gastroenterology Associates at 5:30 p.m., Bond Wellness Center. Gilbert will address colorectal cancer screening, risk factors, and prevention strategies.
