A missing Greenfield woman has been located and is safe, according to Greenfield Police Chief Brian Giammarino.
Mickaell “Kale” Currier, 32, had been missing since Nov. 23, when she called her place to work to say she had car trouble.
“We received a call from Corporal Nann of the Sharon, Pa., police department, who had stopped the missing woman in her vehicle on Thanksgiving Day,” Giammarino said Monday. “She had not broken the law and she is safe.”
Giammarino said Currier’s information had been entered into the National Crime Information Center network, which is used to track all missing persons in the continental United States.
“The officer did not have any reason to hold her. We just wanted to make sure she is safe, and she is safe, and the family is aware, ” Giammarino said. “We are grateful to the community for their help and support in this case.”
