PeterboroughErelli coming to Bass Hall

Singer-songwriter Mark Erelli will perform with his string quintet on Saturday, May 3, at 7 p.m. at Bass Hall at the Monadnock Center, 19 Grove St., Peterborough.

Tickets are $30 online or $35 at the door, cash or check only. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

The performance reimagines Erelli’s catalog with a chamber ensemble led by bassist Zachariah Hickman and violist Annie Bartlett. A live album recorded during a previous show with the quintet was recently released.

Erelli’s latest album, "Lay Your Darkness Down," explores personal themes following his diagnosis with retinitis pigmentosa, a degenerative eye disease.
