The Jaffrey free suppers on the fourth Thursday of each month begin Jan. 25 at 5:30 p.m. in the Mildred Cutter Parish Hall at 54 Main St.

The tradition of providing these monthly free suppers began when a coalition of local nonprofit groups formed a steering committee to organize a yearly schedule that includes a variety of sit-down dinners and barbecues in the summer. RealityCheck will sponsor the January supper, which includes a ziti entree with either white sauce, grilled chicken and broccoli or red sauce with meatballs and sausage. Salad, rolls, beverages and dessert complete the menu.

On Feb. 22, the Jaffrey-Rindge Lions Club will sponsor the supper, consisting of chop suey and salad, rolls, beverages and dessert.

The March supper will be on March 21, not the fourth Thursday because of Maundy Thursday. Team Jaffrey is sponsoring the supper, which will include shepherd’s pie. Jaffrey-Rindge Rotary is sponsoring the April 25 supper, with turkey on the menu.

Families of all ages are welcome.
