The Friends of the Jaffrey Public Library will accept gently used book donations on Saturday, April 12, from 10 a.m. to noon at the Jaffrey Public Library, 38 Main St. Donations will be screened in the Bean Room on the main level.

Books must be in good condition with no writing, stains or torn pages. Recent fiction, mysteries and newer nonfiction are accepted. The Friends will not accept magazines, encyclopedias, textbooks, travel guides, medical, financial or computer books.

Book donations are only accepted during these monthly second Saturday events. Donors are asked not to leave books with library staff or place them in the outside book drop. Sales from the book shelves on both levels support library programs and services.
