The Jaffrey Historical Society will present “Fête de Noël – A French Canadian Christmas Concert” featuring performers Josée Vachon and Patrick Ross on Sunday, Dec. 1, at 2 p.m. at The Park Theatre, 19 Main St., Jaffrey.

The concert celebrates French Canadian heritage with traditional songs and fiddle tunes in the style of a “Réveillon” soirée.

Vachon, raised in Maine with Québécois roots, shares her Franco-American background through folk songs from Québec and Acadia, along with original compositions. She co-founded the folk group Chanterelle and has released 12 solo recordings.

Ross, a fifth-generation fiddler from Vermont, has performed since age 19. He won the Vermont State Fiddle Championship at 14 and has toured extensively, including performances at the Grand Ole Opry and Kennedy Center. Ross also runs Rock Farmer Records, promoting roots music.

Tickets are $25 for adults and $12 for children 12 and under, available at theparktheater.org or at the door.
