PHOTOS: Projects on display at Francestown Community Science Fair

The Francestown Recreation Department hosted the second Community Science Fair on Saturday, March 22, at the Francestown Town Hall. Students from Great Brook School, Francestown Elementary School and homeschool students, ranging in age from 7 to 15, participated in this year’s fair. Meteorologist Cyrena Arnold and Nate Monty of Morphs and Milestones served as judges. 


Dublin School and ConVal to present youth versions of ‘Hadestown’

The Dublin School and ConVal Theatre Arts will both be presenting the Broadway hit “Hadestown” this spring, thanks to the unusual early release of the “teen version” of the play. The Dublin School show is March 8 and 9, and the ConVal production will be April 17 to 19.

The Monadnock Valley Patriots Battle of the Badges fundraiser returned to ConVal on Friday night, with hundreds of community members turning out to watch members of the Peterborough Police Department and five local fire departments take on each other in basketball, along with members of the Monadnock Valley Patriots Special Olympics team.
