A friend sent me the wonderful article about Dick Nevell in the May 29 edition (“Nevell remembered as ‘quiet force of culture’).

We always celebrated Dick’s birthday together with my youngest daughter Anna, since they were a few days apart. I thought it would be nice to tell who is in this birthday photo. From left are Sasha Hall DuVerlie, me (Dawn Matthews Huenink) behind Sasha, Stephanie Bradley, Issac Hall behind Dick, Anna Matthews on Dick’s knee, Jonathan Kramer (the tall one) and Guthrie Matthews.

These kids are all grown up, some with kids and grands of their own, and me, I am much older and wiser now. This was in The Folkway garden about 1986. Sasha;s and Issac’s parents founded The Folkway. Life in Peterborough back then was really wonderful. Good times in a great little town. Thank you for your article.
